Because Jobcorner gives great importance to the protection of your rights and strives for open communication, we have drawn up the following privacy policy. We treat your personal data consistent with the requirements laid down in the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on privacy protection in relation to the processing of personal data and European Directive 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

2. WHICH DATA ARE COLLECTED AND HOW?

Data are collected in two ways. There are general data that do not allow any identification as well as data that allow it. Through your use of the Website and through communicating us your data, you agree that these data will be processed in the databases of Jobcorner and for the purposes described in this privacy policy.

2.1 Automatic processing

First of all there are the data that are automatically sent to us when you are using the Website. Such data are among others your language choice, browser type and IP address. These data are automatically collected via cookies. Cookies are small computer files that are sent by our servers and placed on the hard disk of your computer. These cookies contain information that can only be deciphered by Jobcorner and then still only when you are visiting our site. These cookies allow you to browse easier on the Website. If you are making a payment via a credit card, these data are also stored by the external service provider responsible for the management and processing of these payments that processes them according to its own general conditions and privacy policy. Jobcorner does not by any means guarantee the general conditions and privacy policy of this external service provider.

2.2 Processing after supply

Furthermore some data collected are explicitly collected for specific applications of the Website or entered spontaneously by you, such as name, address, e-mail address and other contact data, your language choice, date of birth, gender, nationality, data about your training and professional experience and on your personal interests. We do not ask or suggest that you would communicate us sensitive personal information relating to your medical or health condition, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a labour union or sexual lifestyle.

Jobcorner will exercise reasonable care by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures so as to guarantee your personal data in a safe and confidential manner. 4. MODIFICATION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You can at any time get access to your personal data and rectify, modify or if necessary even remove wrong, incomplete or irrelevant data. Also the consent with respect to the supply or not of your personal data to third people can be modified at any time.

5. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURTS

The Belgian law governs this privacy statement.

Only the Dutch-speaking courts of Brussels are competent to deal with any litigation relating to the application and interpretation of this privacy statement.
