Sales Area Finance Manager

Function description

Responsible for implementation of the programs and initiatives established by the Global Financial Services Organization in a specific assigned geography. This includes working with the local direct and indirect sales organization to identify opportunities to implement direct EMC leases with customers, as well as opportunities to swap out non-EMC storage as well as existing EMC storage. Additionally, the AFM is responsible for the identification of opportunities with end users to drive revenue for EMC through partnering with local third party Lessors in order to get business from their imbedded client base. The AFM must work closely with the entire local sales organization in order to proactively participate in structuring transactions in order to maximize EMC''s revenues and margins.

Tasks

Responsible for the implementation of the Focus 1-2-3 methodology to drive the identification of incremental revenues through total cost of ownership analysis, lease rolls and asset management methodologies
Responsible for the identification and structuring of transactions to drive the return of older EMC technologies and the replacement of non-EMC storage technologies
Responsible for supporting the direct sales organization in all aspects of financial selling in their assigned territory.
Responsible for development and delivery of presentations and proposals to customers and the regular participation in sales calls.
Responsible for the ongoing development and training of the local sales organization.
Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of the relationships with selected local third party Lessors.
Responsible for all of the negotiating of the terms and financial structures of EMC leases.
