
Provides technical expertise in support of pre-sales activities and maintaining specialist level technical acumen with assigned practice specialty. Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions. Technical emphasis is on hardware capabilities, software requirements and systems integration. May assist in developing opportunities, making customer presentations, and responding to RFPs.
Develops technical strategies to deliver EMC solutions that support business objectives at assigned accounts.
Delivers ongoing formal and informal training and product positioning that helps customers understand the operational, financial and business impact of EMC solutions.
Analyzes customer''s business objectives by asking probing questions that are relevant to the customer. Gathers information from customers that enable the sales team to be more effective and responsive to customer needs.
Based on the customer''s objectives uses technology expertise to configure solutions utilizing EMC products and services that provide business value to customers and prospects.
Assists CSL with the development of the technical aspects of sales campaigns.
Configures and documents EMC software, hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives. Completes pre-site documentation quickly and accurately.
Responsible for developing and proposing technology solutions that meet customers'' needs. Ensures that proposed solutions when implemented meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer. EMC Proven Professional Certification desired.
