Function description
This is a full-time permanent position responsible for ensuring a number of aspects of the networked computing environment are maintained and operational.
Tasks
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN software and hardware including Windows Servers, local network workstations, VPN, etc.
* Troubleshoot issues with domain controllers, and implement MS group policy.
* Migrate, install, patch, and upgrade Exchange and Active Directory servers.
* Assist users with software and desktop support issues.

Profile
* 3+ years experience in Microsoft Windows Operating System administration and support, both server and desktop
* knowledge of MSSQL, Exchange and Active Directory administration
* knowledge of LAMP system administration
* knowledge in system scripting (vbs, bash, powershell, …)
* knowledge of VMware ESX is an asset
* knowledge of Navision Administration is an asset
* Troubleshoot Desktop and LAN protocols: DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, http, FTP
* provide user support and training
* troubleshoot hardware and software issues
* good communication skills
* a strong customer focus
* excellent problem solving skills
* able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
* bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience
* MCP, MCSE or MCSA is an asset
* driving license
* fluent in french, good in english and dutch is an asset
