COUNTRY MANAGER BELGIUM (900.MM.cmb)

Introduction

Our client is a multinational food corporation selling its high-quality products via supermarkets and specialised retailers.

In Belgium, it employs 25 people and generates a turnover of EUR 20+ million.

Function description

To sustain its growth in Belgium, the company is looking for a new Country Manager who will lead and inspire its team located in Flemish Brabant.

While the Belgian structure will be focusing on sales, marketing and purchasing, the mother company will manage most of the back office activities.

Profile

- university calibre
- at least 10-15 years’ relevant experience, through various distribution channels, among others in specialty products and in supermarkets
- strong category management expertise
- strong commercial skills : driven, results-oriented, customer-oriented, excellent communication, negotiating and organization skills, commercial flair, sense of initiative
- able to create and maintain long-lasting sales relationships
- able to implement and customize the success models developed at the mother company
- people management and coaching experience, charismatic leader, good coach and motivator, sensitive to his teams
- good financial insight
- good operational skills
- basic knowledge of HR
- self starter, entrepreneurial type
- high emotional intelligence
- flexible
- excellent communication skills
- bilingual DU/FR, with a good knowledge of English
