Function description

* By different strategies you request quotations to appropriate suppliers. You pursue and deliver cost reductions by encouraging improvements of the manufacturing and logistics process and by negotiation.
* Investigate the market to find new suppliers in order to achieve the best market price
* Make supplier selections
* Follow up your suppliers throughout the project
* Audit appropriate suppliers for conformity to the needs and desired standards in production (productivity, quality, safety, health and environment) in relation to the price).
* Work with different commodities

Profile

* Higher degree (bachelor or master).
* Fluent in English. Knowledge of Japanese or German is an asset.
* Experience in purchasing (min 2 years)
* Eager to learn
* Experience in automotive industry is an advantage
* Driving license B - Willing to travel abroad for short to mid long terms
* Team player who can adapt to the Japanese business culture.
* Flexibility and adaptability are very strong assets for this function.
