Helpdesk Support Analyst

Als ambitieus en snelgroeiend interimkantoor selecteert en rekruteert Vera Interim in Vlaanderen en Brussel vooral hoger opgeleid personeel voor middelgrote en multinationale bedrijven. We kiezen hierbij resoluut voor uw persoonlijke groei en zoeken de (interim)job die u op het lijf geschreven is.

Function description

* As a main contact between the end users in our various European departments & offices and our EU IT department.
* Streamline this contact to go through our case-logging system. For urgent issues provide support by phone & email.
* Provide tier 1 support to end users, when needed pass cases on to tier 2 support teams.
* Work on a case flow where end users check requests with their teamleaders/IT contacts before passing the requests to the IT department.
* Work with the team to provide support during the opening hours of all EU offices
* Where needed work together with the IT helpdesk and IT teams located in our main office
* Get familiar with and trained in our systems & procedures. Possibilities to grow within the department exist

Profile

* Bachelor in IT
* Any experience is considered a plus.
* Broad-based IT knowledge yet specific expertise is not required.
* Profound knowledge of common office applications (MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat…)
* Profound knowledge of Win XP. Any experience with Win Vista, Linux & Mac is considered a plus.
* Experience with database-oriented applications is required. SAP experience is an important plus.
* Experience with networking environments especially Cisco is a plus.
* Experience with phone systems, especially Avaya is a plus.
* Excellent (team) communication skills.
* Excellent English language skills (both verbal & written)
* Dutch language skills are a plus as is any other European language.
* Eager to learn new things, interest in new technologies.
* Team player with an information-sharing mentality.
* Polite, patient and customer-friendly.
* Well-organized.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU for short trips.
