Rails Developer (RoR, Javascript) - Web Apps Development Company - London

Introduction

My client is a small but fast-growing Web Application Development company with exciting projects to come in the near future. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Rails Developer to develop new apps for a brand new web-based project.

Function description

As a Rails Developer you would be joining a small team of developers and transition some of the projects from Java to Rails. You would be working on apps which have RIA UIs with a lot clientside interaction and on Rhino for server side scripting.

Profile

The Rails Developer should have the following skills/background:

* experience and genuine passion for developing in Rails,
* strong involvement in the web/open source development community (eg github.com, blogs, personal projects, etc.),
* experience with Javascript and familiarity with one of the major frameworks (eg YUI or jQuery).

Your cv should include some examples of your work and detail your contribution in the development of the apps.
