Function description

The task of a project manager consists of managing various projects.
These projects can be organized in different sectors and cover the stages of design, implementation and operation of an ICT project.

Your task starts the moment the design is set out by the IT architects and continues up until the end of the implementation. You are responsible for the implementation of the technical applications the IT architect has defined, taking into account the needs of the customer.

You mainly have a coordinating role: you lead a team of approximately 5 internal colleagues who help you to carry out the project. You are responsible for guiding and motivating these team members in such a way that they can also grow in their job. You coach less experienced colleagues within the projects. You help evaluating these team members.

You are responsible for the contacts with the customers and you function as the point of contact between external partners and your team. You actively help the customer think out a plan and you put yourself in your customer's world so that you can come up with the best possible solution.

You take into account the financial side of the project. This implies that the project is delivered within the approved budget.

You are responsible for the end result of the project. Finally, you make sure that the project is handed over correctly in line with the service agreements.

Profile

You are technically well-experienced in the field of ICT (knowledge of infrastructure and applications).

You have broad project management experience.
You have experience in managing the financial side of projects as well as overall budget management.
PMI certificate is an advantage.

You are quality and customer focused.
You have good communication skills.
You can manage and motivate a team.
You are able to handle pressure.
You are results driven.

You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.

You will work in one of our offices and are willing to occasionally commute between these offices, as well as to customers' locations.

You are willing to occasionally travel abroad.

You have at least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar environment
