We are looking for a Sales Support Coordinator. You will report to the Sales Director Belgium who's heading a small but energetic team of strikers (Sales Officers, Managers and Executives), willing to go that one step further to meet the customers' expectations and get the deal closed.
The Belgian sales-team is supported by different corporate departments (marketing, pre-sales, legal, ...), and by a local sales support organization. You are the first member of this local support team.
You are responsible for developing structures and processes for the way we will deal with smaller customer requests. By doing so, you will build the fundamentals for an internal sales department, dealing with a large base of smaller customers in a semi-automated way.
During the start-up phase, you qualify, handle and contract opportunities for Porthus software and services independently.
You ensure proactive forecasting based on detailed activity reporting via MS-CRM.
In addition to your main challenge, you play a key role in the way field sales interacts with other sales supporting departments (marketing, pre-sales , business analysts, etc).
- Trilingual in Dutch / French / English.
- Successful ICT solutions sales support / internal sales
- Complemented with a good general understanding or affinity with Supply Chain solutions & processes.
- You are very keen on personal organization and strive for excellence with regards to the administrative handling of contractual documents.
- You like to take up the phone and negotiate a deal in a clear way, so that an opportunity can be dealt with immediately.

- Teamwork -Ability to work in a virtual team with pre-sales, sales, and the delivery organization.
- Continuous learning - Ability to understand the customer needs and the Porthus portfolio and its evolution.
- Drive for results – Evaluate opportunities in an efficient way, get them in a pipeline and close them with a minimal administrative effort.
- Impact & influence - Ability to advise the customer and to involve and steer Porthus resources. You will automate the handing-over of the deal to our delivery organization.
- Bias for action / initiative - Actively searches for actions/initiatives to grow the business at existing customers.
- Strategic business focus - Define an opportunity plan for accounts within certain verticals.
