Function description

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the World. To build on our success in Belgium and be part of a new team, we’re looking for a skilled Solution Architect with CMS knowledge and .NET experience. Energetic and outgoing, the Solution Architect combines CMS (.NET) knowledge with product expertise and offers this combined expertise to sales, customers & partners.

Tasks

· Technical Presentations and demonstrations
· Defining Sitecore architecture/blueprint for customer and partners
· Developing CMS relevant (sales) propositions
· Develop demo's and POC with sales, product specialist and product development
· Support local sales in responding to tenders/rfi/rfp
· Keep relevant technical/market knowledge up to date
· Advise customers & partners on how to best use Sitecore products

As a solution architect you have the chance to develop in a very broad spectrum, ranging from product expertise, customer interaction, communication, IT and market knowledge. Successful pre-sales consultants are highly demanded individuals with the possibility to develop a career in many different IT (and non-IT) functions. We are looking for a professional with a solid background in Computer Science / Informatics with CMS knowledge and experience in IT (.NET) architecture.

Profile

To fulfill the role of solution architect we are looking for a candidate that matches the following profile:

Technical:
· Good understanding of the CMS (IT) industry in general
· Good understanding of the CMS interoperability concepts and solutions in specific
· Technical/IT education, university degree
· Worked in a CMS related role (e.g. consultant, pre-sales)
· Good understanding of Sitecore or similar products

Non Technical:
· Good communication skills, able to articulate key messages very clearly
· Experience in giving (pre)sales presentations
· Openness to work with different languages & cultures (apart from the Belgian market, you will also support most of Europe, Middle East & Asia on a ad-hoc basis)
· Results orientation, you won’t be satisfied until the job is done with the right quality!
· Ability to work in (virtual) teams
. To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries
· Self motivated, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
· Conceptual thinking
· Team-worker
· Adapting to change
· Always looking to raise the bar of own skills/competencies development

Other
· Work experience in a similar role is an advantage
· Fluency (including writing) in Flemish and English is a must. French is an advantage
· Willingness to travel
· Possibility to work from home and from a future Sitecore Office in Belgium.
