LabVIEW Specialist - Helsinki

Introduction

Symbio specializes in the development of test and measurement systems with very high requirements on quality. We are experts in LabVIEW, founders of Graphical Object Oriented Programming (GOOP) and have developed our own tools to make LabVIEW development more efficient.

We are an Alliance Partner with National Instruments, Flir and Columbia Elektronik. Symbio Sweden (former Endevo) has been working with Labview since 1996, and the market in Finland has great demand for services in this area.

Function description

Would you like to spice up your SW development career? We are looking for the best of the best to join our LabVIEW projects.

As a LabVIEW specialist you will be in key expert role in building the LabVIEW expertise in Symbio Finland. You will be working with our top industrial customers as technical lead or other responsible role guiding the team towards common feature requirements. In particular, you will take part in directing the requirements defining phase and take responsibility of the design and implementation of critical LabVIEW modules and projects.

You will also take part on our Sales process offering your technical expertise in customer negations. Your eventual work role and responsibilities can naturally be tailored according to your aspirations and competencies.

Profile

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Solid knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW
- An expert-level knowledge of automated test equipment, including real-time technologies, as applied to complex component simulation and control solutions
- Solid knowledge of object oriented methodologies, software architecture and design patterns
- Experience in requirements definition, design, implementation and unit testing
- Social strengths and outgoing personality
- Master level graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field or equivalent experience

We also appreciate your previous experience in TestStand, data acquisition, measurement and HW.

You are an independent performer, while working well as a Coach to your LabVIEW team. Being eager to learn new things, you are always motivated to meet new challenges. Tight timetables and working in a global environment makes the job interesting to you.
